ZDN Exclusive -- Ed and Elaine Brown and the IRS

This bit requires some background info for a few reasons: 1) This issue is very close to me since i know them personally and 2) i’m well aware of the fraud that has been perpetrated against us.

Ed and Elaine are in their 60’s and live in Plainfield, NH. He is a ruff-around-the-edges ex-marine who made a living as a contractor (found a rather novel way of killing cockroaches at one point) and she is a dentist and one of the nicest women i’ve met. They live in a fairly large home that is under construction, located in a remote area. Their address is 401, Center of Town Road, Plainfield NH.

One of things i don’t want to do with this mailing list is state anything as fact unless i’m 95+% certain of it. In this case, i’m 99.5% certain. Having said that, the Browns have discovered something that vast majority do not know:

There is NO LAW or statute that requires the average, working American to pay a tax on their income.

As our forefathers, the Browns believe that would be equivalent to slavery. They were each tried and found guilty of several tax related “crimes” and sentenced to 5 years, each. During their ordeal they spent a lot of time in court listening to judges that refused to hear evidence that could prove their innocence. After a long time screwing around in the courts filing motions and such, they decided they had enough and walked out of one court, while it was in session, and went home where they’ve been since Jan. of this year. All they ask is that someone SHOW THEM THE LAW or statute that requires them to pay federal income tax and they will pay. No one has. Not the courts, not the IRS, not any CPA, not law enforcement, not anyone. If you care to try, the Browns and others are offering very substantial rewards. They are yours if you can find the law or statute that requires the average working American to pay an income tax on their labor.

I’ve been to see the Browns several times, along with many other supporters such as Randy Weaver, Danny Riley, a representative from the PBS network (i forget his name), Torin Wolf, the We the People Radio Network (WTPRN) crew, the Alex Jones crew, Dave Von Kliest, Ted Anderson and many, many others including several musicians, bands and members of alternative media. People from all over the country have been there and each and every one is putting themselves in harms way and risking arrest by doing so. Why? This is a huge deal on the internet but you won’t hear much from the mainstream media other than the usual “tax protesters holed up in fortified compound” bullshit.

A former boss of mine, a very intelligent individual and one whom i have a lot of respect for, wrote to me in an email:

“Here’s a good exercise to see if you still want to stop paying federal and state taxes. Look up on the internet all of the roads that are paid for by federal and state taxes – you’ll find that most of them are covered. Then park your Miata and start walking to work. ;) ”

What he didn’t know is that i’ve already stopped paying federal income tax on my labor (i’m not playing games here folks), and that the roads are paid for by the tax on fuel, not income tax. Also, and i need to make this clear, i have no objection to state or local taxes. Neither do the Browns or any of the tax truthers that i know of.

Shots were first fired several weeks ago on the Browns’ property by one of the governments 3-letter agencies (i forget which). An agent fired two rounds at Danny’s head, later claiming he missed on purpose (Danny was running at the time). Danny Riley is one of several dedicated supporters who stay with the Browns most of the time. He was walking the Browns’ dog when he noticed a guy in a Gillie suit (type of camouflage) off to the side of the driveway and asked if he was turkey hunting. When the guy stood up and tried to stop him, Danny ran towards the house and then saw ~11 more guys in cammo jump up on both sides of the driveway. At this point the first guy, he thinks, shot twice at or near his head. Danny stopped and surrendered but was tasered and ruffed up anyway. During questioning they asked the usual questions, but then it took a strange turn: According to Danny, who i’ve met and have little reason to doubt, they told him that if he was asked about the incident he was to tell people he was detained by local authorities. Why would they lie about this? He was not to give any details and was threatened with incarceration if he did so. As soon as Danny was released he went public and blew the lid off, as he should have.

The Browns are in a defensive position and will not go to jail for breaking a law that does not exist. The NH motto is “Live Free or Die” and that is exactly their intension.

The next ~35 rounds were fired this past Sa. at ~11:15 P in the woods around their home. At least some of the shooting was from semi-automatic weapons and it lasted about 10 min.. No one was hurt. I don’t believe anyone was targeted. An RV occupied by an unarmed supporter was also rocked back and forth. In total, the event lasted from ~11:15 P to ~6 A. As a result of the events Danny Riley put out a “Red Alert” on the internet asking for more help. In response, more supporters arrived throughout the day Sa.. WTPRN broke into their show in progress and went live with Danny during the incident. The local police and media completely denied anything happened, then later changed their story evidentially.

The Browns attribute what they think was a standoff by law enforcement to the immediate attention they were able to direct toward the incident, despite law enforcement cutting their power and phone lines long ago (they are self sufficient with solar and wind power anyway and their supporters provide communications).

Referring to this latest incident, someone with access to satellite surveillance photographs of the Browns home identified Blackwater vehicles near the property. Blackwater USA is a private company contracted by the government and appears to be a private militia (several of them are in Iraq). We’ll get into Blackwater in a bit.

Tom Cryer vs the IRS – acquitted

Tom is an attorney in Louisiana. He was recently acquitted by a jury of willfully failing to file income tax returns for two years. If i remember right, the two tax evasion charges were dropped. Tom is also well aware of the IRS fraud.

Sherry Peel Jackson (ex-IRS Agent)

Sherry is incredible and an absolute joy to listen to as she mixes facts with humor and keeps it all very simple. She reminds me of the chick who wrote “To Kill a Mockingbird” for some reason. There are very few people i’ve come across that emanate an ora (spelling?) of wholesome honesty and simplicity the way Sherry does. She is an ex-IRS agent with an impeccable record who tried to collect a $40 k (?) reward for anyone able to prove there is a law requiring most individuals to pay income tax. She had already left the IRS and she could’ve used the extra money. No brainier for an ex-IRS agant, right? Wrong. After an intensive 2 year investigation she failed, miserably. She no longer pays income tax. Her case will go to court soon. Some like to say she quit the IRS in protest and this is not the case; she quit to dedicate more time to her family.

I don’t know much about Joe other than he is an ex-IRS Special Agent who decided to investigate the law and tax code and came to the same conclusion as the rest: There is no law. If i remember correctly, he was asked to resign after questioning his superiors about the tax code.

Randy Weaver (Ruby Ridge incident)

I mentioned that Randy was at the Browns’ home as a supporter. I’m not about to go into Randy or Ruby Ridge in great detail, but there’s a few things i need to say about him…

When someone says “until the next ice age” in response to a question put forth by a CNN reporter (or FOX — i forget), “how long do you intend to stay with the Browns?”, i guess you can call him a supporter :) In order to restore some of the credibility that the mainstream media and government have tried to take away from him, i’ll tell you what i know about Randy: First of all, i suggest not accusing him of being a white supremist as the media claims he is and much of the public believes he is. I’ve seen him confront a reporter who did so and i doubt that reporter will ever make that mistake again.

Randy is a very likable and simple man. If you saw him in a crowd, nothing would stand out. He is getting old and his hair is gray. He recently grew a beard. He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer and has no qualms about admitting it. As i am, he is blunt, foul-mouthed (though i am able to control that, for the most friggin part — so is he) and direct and if you don’t like it, tuff nuts. He is the kind of person i admire because you know that what he says is from the heart. He is also harboring a tremendous amount of anger and pain and it clearly shows. I’ve seen him shout and cry, all within 10 minutes. How would most husbands feel if their wife and child were murdered in front of them, on their own property, by the government?

At some point he became aware of the wayward ways of our government and wanted to escape it but the government had other plans. When asked if he had any sources for fully automatic weapons by an undercover ATF agent, he said he didn’t. When the agent asked Randy to sell him a two shotguns with a shortened barrels, he obliged and so started the ball rolling. The barrels ended up being a 1/4 of an inch too short i believe. It ended in murder as his son, Sammy, his wife, Viki, — while holding their baby — and the family dog, Striker, were shot and killed. Randy was wounded.

Sammy was with the dog when the first shots were fired. An agent shot the dog because he was “being attacked”. As Randy said, and later investigation seems to support, the dog was running toward home and was shot in the ass. The bullet exited its shoulder. As Randy puts it in his blunt but charming manner, “first dog i know of that attacks with its ass”. Sammy returned fire in anger because his pet was shot. He was first shot in the arm, then in the back as he turned and ran for home. Not the right thing to do for an adult, admittedly, but how about a kid who is watching his friend quiver and bleed to death? Viki was shot by Lon Horiuchi, a professional sniper allegedly trying for a one shot, two kill scenario. I believe he was also present at Waco. According to Randy, Lon waited for Viki and Kevin Harris, a family friend, to become in alignment with his position before pulling the trigger. Would’ve been a hell of a shot had he succeeded but Kevin was only injured. Viki was shot in the head and killed.

Ruby Ridge was a huge embarrassment to the government, as was Waco. He broke the law by shortening the barrel of a shotgun shorter than the law allowed and some of his family members were murdered as a result. Sound fair? They could’ve arrested Randy at any time while he was in town, just like David Koresh, but they chose to set a dramatic example instead. In spite of what he has already gone through he is willing to put his life on the line, again, by supporting Ed and Elaine.

Blackwater USA

OK, i promised some information on a company known as Blackwater USA. I know very little about them and just became aware of the company a few days ago. It was evidently started as some sort of hunting club which has evolved into much more and is now contracted by the government for military purposes, both foreign and domestic. Why do we have armed contractors running around throughout the world who cannot be held accountable for their actions? Seems even Bush doesn’t know, or at least that’s what he lies. It is my understanding that we have almost as many contractors operating in Iraq as military personnel. Check out these links…
