Due to the failure of corporate owned mainstream media news to inform the public, more people are turning to the internet for alternative news resources. The world wide web has become one of the last bastions of still reasonably open communications for people who have information but fear being ridiculed, censored, or risking their careers because of their refusal to toe the party line. These people include everyday individuals, journalists, whistle-blowers, activists, physicians, scientists, researchers and many more.

0DayNews.org (pronounced ‘zero-day news’) is an alternative news resource and an extension of myself. I don’t believe in censoring the truth and am certainly not afraid to let the chips fall where they may. Most of all, 0DayNews.org exists to expose what the mainstream media is keeping from you.

Thanks to the evolution of syndicated feeds (RSS), it becomes rather trivial to keep abreast of news items posted by hundreds of websites each day. Topics i of interest to me include politics, foreign policy, the intelligence communities, alternative medicine, extraterrestrial activity and influence, taxes and the IRS, conspiracies, health and well-being, spirituality, technology and several others. I watch many feeds on a daily basis and then cherry pick the stories i feel are most important and post them on this website, along with the occasional article i write (see the Exclusive section). Since i am only one imperfect human, i do not claim that everything you read here is the truth, but i have done my homework in many areas and what is presented here is what i believe to be truthful, or at least worthy of your attention since the truth is often embedded in a lie.

One statement that is often put to me is, “but anyone can publish anything on the internet”. This is true, for the time being anyway, and this is exactly the way it needs to be. Anyone should be able to express their views without fear of censorship. True, there are plenty of people and corporations and even governments spreading disinformation as a result, but is mainstream media any different? Do you believe Fox News is telling you the truth? People tend to lend more creditability to professionally produced programs than to a lone journalist in Gaza who has a small blog and a story to tell. What they often fail to comprehend is the fact that all mainstream media – T.V., news papers, radio, entertainment, etc. – is owned by a handful of corporations who are interested in the same thing all corporations are interested in: the bottom line. When you look at the people sitting on their boards, it becomes evident that we don’t hear the truth about a multitude of subjects because the truth would crush their agendas of power, control and greed.

I wish you well and hope that you consider the decisions you make in your everyday life carefully, weighing them against how they affect not only other people, but also the Earth on which we all depend.
