??? Who owns the media ???This is key in understanding part of why you're not being told the truth and why people like myself are trying desperately to get the news out. There's more important things happening than Brittney, though the mainstream media would have you believe otherwise much of the time. I get most of my news from alternative sources because the mainstream media won't report it. Why? Part of the reason is because it is owned by unethical people and companies who have defense contractors and members of corporate oil sitting on their boards. Virtually all of the mainstream media, including newspapers, magazines, television and radio are owned by a very small handful of very large corporations. Proof of the blackout in the media are in the articles i'm sending you. I got an email yesterday from a friend who told me her boyfriend talked to 4 people about Ron Paul yesterday and none even knew who he was! Then i started looking at what the scientists were saying, where Gore was getting his data and the data he is ignoring. One the holes, among many, in the latest doomsday trend is that, while in fact the surface of the earth is getting warmer (we are coming out of an ice age you know), the upper atmosphere seems to be getting cooler. If the sales people were right, and the scientists wrong, and there was a blanket of C02 trapping heat in, the upper atmosphere would be warming as well. Why isn't it? Don't get me wrong, i'm all for a greener earth, waste reduction, lower emissions, etc., but the corporations influencing policy in Washington aren't. If they were, we'd get the trucks off the road and build more railways for a start. Or how about un-shelving some of those patents bought up by the big utilities for cheaper energy? Other resources:
