"So, what do think of Ron Paul" i ask. "Who's Ron Paul" is the reply. I want to slap this guy until he wakes from his Fox News induced stupor, but then i realize i was as ignorant as he a few months ago.

I've never been interested in politics in my life until recently. I never really cared because i guess i didn't see the effect "politicians", whom i though were all pretty much full of shit anyway, had on me. One of the reasons i never voted is because i knew i couldn't make an intelligent decision based on what the media is trying to sell us and i simply didn't feel like researching on my own. I always wondered how others could. The way i see it, voting is basically a choice between the lesser of two evils. I have to thank Bush and company for changing all that. You've got my attention "Mr. President". I have awoken from my slumber and i now see the difference a corrupt, unconstitutional, corporate/big banking/Freemason/Bilderberg/Skull and Bones influenced, power hungry administration is making in my life. I see the death and destruction and the raping and torturing of middle easterners. I see how the lives of our young men and women and their families are being torn to shreds while they're contaminated with depleted uranium supplied by defense contractors who are getting rich. I am very much affected by the loss of the freedoms that have been taken away as the result of an assault on our Constitution. You, sir, have a new enemy -- an "Army of One".

Ron seems to be the opposite of Bush in many ways. He's rather soft spoken and he doesn't have that "tough" look. I haven't seen any tough-guy photographs of him wielding a chainsaw while sporting a cowboy hat. I wonder if he's afraid of horses? And he's a doctor, running for president??? How wussy is that?

A friend of mine turned me on to Ron several months ago and my first reaction was that he's a salesman [politician] and he's selling to those who will listen whatever it is they wish to hear. I eventually poked around his website and i found his voting record somewhere. At first i was a bit disturbed by his voting history until i dug a bit deeper, upon which it is evident that one cannot judge a bills contents by its title alone (good article on that here). First and foremost, Ron supports the Constitution of the United States of America or, as Bush calls it, that "goddamned piece of paper". Well George, you may wipe your treasonous ass with it, but many Americans believe in it, and for good reason; our forefathers knew what they were doing when they penned it. They had intimate knowledge of the harm that could come to this country and sought to provide the People with protection against... against what we are now living. We the People have failed in our obligation to question our government and this is the result. Ron Paul intends to restore the rights and freedoms granted to us by our forefathers.

Aaron Russo is known to me only as the film maker who brought America: Freedom to Fascism to life. I was secretly hoping he would make an appearance at Ed and Elaine's home, but he died the other day following a long battle with cancer. Aaron learned something most people don't know, you see: He learned that there is no law or statute that requires the average working American to pay a tax on their labor. He learned that the income tax doesn't pay for what most of us think it does and that, instead, it goes to pay the interest on the money that the Federal Reserve loans to the government. Dr. Paul is aware of these facts, which is why he wants to exterminate the IRS and the Federal Reserve. After all, why should the government pay interest on worthless paper, backed by nothing, when it can print it's own money interest free, as provided for in that "goddamned piece of paper"? Oh, and for the record, i no longer pay a slavery tax on my labor.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

I think Ron is keenly aware of the roots of many of the problems facing our society and the world today. If i register to vote, it will only be because of Ron Paul. There may be other candidates not covered by the mainstream media that still cling to ethical foundations, but i think he is the only one that stands a chance of winning the presidency and he's gaining attention fast, no thanks to the corporate controlled mainstream media with defense contractors and members of corporate oil sitting on their boards. Despite this hitch however, he has won several straw polls and is a huge success on the internet among peace loving Constitutionalists who've had enough of the current administration and "preemptive war". I've never seen such a surge in enthusiasm and support since JFK.

What the public needs to understand is that FOX, ABC, CBS, CNN, NSNBC and the other established *mainstream “mass media”/news sources [*see definition @ Wikipedia.org] are perpetrating criminal fraud (via omissions, distortions and outright lies) and a deliberate censorship of Dr. Ron Paul in 2008 Presidential race---with malice and aforethought and evil intent to control the 2008 presidential elections.
