The 11th of September rolls around again, and again i find myself remembering the same day 6 years ago.

I happened to be at home that morning. I didn't usually watch TV, but i flicked it on that morning for some reason. The first plane had already hit and, like most everyone else i suspect, i entered some sort of alternate state of consciousness in which nothing seemed real anymore, or at least that's how it seemed. I wondered if i had really woken up that morning and i actually pinched my arm thinking that, if i were dreaming, the quick burst of pain would wake me and this would all end. It didn't.

I sat in front of the TV the entire day and most of the next. I couldn't stop watching. The world had changed right then and i had seen it. It was part of me like a tattoo i didn't want and i couldn't figure out how to make sense of it all.

The government identified the hijackers and pointed the finger at Osama bin Laden. Good enough for me because all i wanted to do at that point was KILL SOMEBODY. I didn't question how quickly they fingered the suspects, or what evidence they had. How is it that the intelligence community failed so miserably prior to 9/11 and then suddenly knew exactly who was responsible in a matter of hours? Whatever; i just wanted a war, fast, and the people behind the curtain were happy to oblige.

For the next several years i remained asleep at the wheel believing we were doing the right thing in the middle east. I went on with my life and moved to another state where i worked with robotics for 5 years. For whatever reason, i became interested in abusive rehab facilities at some point and went full-steam with that. That was my introduction to "activism" and i've never stopped being an activist since. One thing led to another and i found myself studying all sorts of unpopular subjects, including taking a fresh look at 9/11.

I quickly learned

that the attacks on the towers are only a fragment of a much larger, intricate mosaic. Trying to wade through the mounds of information became very tedious. I had read all the "no plane" theories and hologram and UFO garbage and now i wanted the facts. It was time to turn to the official reports and professional opinions and trudge through hundred page documents. The NIST report is one of the first government reports i read and it seemed to raise more questions than it answered. The months went by and the questions mounted.

In the end, i can only state one thing for certain: Those in power knew what was going to happen that day and did nothing to stop it. It was no longer as important who planned or executed the attack because they were just as guilty either way. They did nothing to stop it because the attack was used to pursue an agenda established long ago. It needed to happen, just as it was alluded to in the PNAC document, 'Rebuilding America's Defenses'.

Whether you believe those in power had foreknowledge or not doesn't really make much of a difference at this point. What is vital to your future, and the world, is that you understand where we are, even more so than how we got here. It is time to take action and it is up to each and everyone of you to do so. If you believe that this war needs to stop, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! If you're tired of losing your civil liberties, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! If you're tired of innocent civilians being slaughtered and raped and tortured, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Here's some things you can do...

On Saturday morning I found a copy of the full Bin Laden (2007-09-07) video. It is 677 Megs and took over two hours to download. By Saturday evening I had finished analyzing the video, and I completed the audio analysis this morning. (There is also a 3-minute version that is the first 3 minutes from the full video.)

My findings? I strongly believe that Bin Laden is dead.

That was, of course, a non-answer. And Warner wasn't going to let the general dodge the bullet. He repeated the question: "Does the [Iraq war] make America safer?"
