OIL RISES NEAR $107 A BARRELOil prices rose Monday as prospects for further cuts in U.S. interest rates seemed more likely after poor U.S. jobs data at the end of last week. IRAN TO OPEC: STOP OIL SALES IN DOLLARSOil is priced in U.S. dollars on the world market, and the currency's depreciation has concerned producers because it has contributed to rising crude prices and eroded the value of their dollar reserves.
