The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it. -- Albert Einstein

Is the United States knowingly using a dangerous battlefield weapon banned by the United Nations because of its long-term effects on the local inhabitants and the environment? Explore the illegal worldwide sale and use of one of the deadliest weapons ever invented. Beyond the disclosure of black-ops projects spanning the past 6 decades, Beyond Treason also addresses the complex subject of Gulf War Illness. It includes interviews with experts, both civilian and military, who say that the government is hiding the truth from the public and they can prove it.
Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of "an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs."
And when the Elite face criticism, they do a minimal amount of good things, and make sure their Elite media friends broadcast about those actions. The World Trade Organization, for example, is colluding with Big Pharma and Big Agra to have the United Nation's Codex group outlaw natural food and nutrients
There is massive military activity in and around the Desoto National Forest of Mississippi. Local eye- witnesses tell of Red Dawn-like scenarios with foreign military forces conducting roadblock checkpoints.
During Operation Urban Warrior, actors posed as American citizens who were Unconstitutionally seized from their homes by the military and police. These "Americans: were rounded up and confined behind barbed-wire.
The actors were told to demand to be let free and state that they had rights. They were also told to demand food and water. The troops in turn were taught to ignore them and to order them to behave in an orderly fashion. "Civil disobedience will not be tolerated" was one of the many disturbing statements heard to emanate from the military's loud speakers.
Not that George W. Bush needs much encouragement, but Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales a new target for the administration's domestic operations -- Fifth Columnists, supposedly disloyal Americans who sympathize and collaborate with the enemy.
This amazing sermon given in Sept 2003 by Pastor Rod Parsley at Breakthrough Church in Columbus Ohio ... all » details the story of how Paul Warburg, John D. Rockefeller, and J.P. Morgan met with Senator Aldridge at a conference in Jekyll Island to create the Federal Reserve Banking System in America circa 1913.
Most people hear about the "national debt" but few ask what it means or who we owe.
When it came to sex, Bill Clinton made us debate the definition of 'is.' Now, when it comes to economics, Hillary Clinton wants to debate the definition of 'long,' claiming this week in Ohio that 'I've long been a critic of the shortcomings of NAFTA.'
Earlier, Kostunica had told the demonstrators, 'Kosovo belongs to the Serbian people,' while the crowd roared back, 'We'll never give up Kosovo, never!' Ultra-nationalist leader Tomislav Nikolic said that the US and the European Union were trying to steal Kosovo from Serbia.
A Shreveport police officer has been fired after an incident in which a female prisoner taken into custody on suspicion of DWI wound up lying on a floor at the police station in a pool of blood.
In the US alone, over 80% of all processed foods contain them. Others include grains like rice, corn and wheat; legumes like soybeans and soy products; vegetable oils, soft drinks; salad dressings; vegetables and fruits; dairy products including eggs; meat, chicken, pork and other animal products; and even infant formula plus a vast array of hidden additives and ingredients in processed foods (like in tomato sauce, ice cream, margarine and peanut butter).
McCain can deny the charges, and it is not likely that this will lead to any legal issues in and of itself. But it does not only make him out to be a hypocrite, it opens up the festering wound of the longstanding incestuous ties between money, sex, power, and favors for "K Street lobbyists," for which the Republicans (and many Democrats) have become infamous.
It's unfortunately not unusual anymore to hear about the politicization of American legal and intelligence institutions under the Bush administration, but, even so, this report by The Nation's Ross Tuttle about how the trials of six key prisoners at Guantanamo Bay have allegedly been rigged from the get-go is disturbing.
now that the most potent symbol of the Latin American left has announced his retirement, Chavez is poised to inherit the political and symbolic mantle and all the romanticism it entails.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The lives of 22,000 patients could have been saved if U.S. regulators had been quicker to remove a Bayer AG drug used to stem bleeding during open heart surgery, according to a medical researcher interviewed by CBS Television's 60 Minutes program.
In yet another move by the global elite in hedge funding to insure victory no matter who wins, the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, the Gates Foundation, the Macarthur Foundation, as well as others, have been providing funding to the National Council of La Raza, one of the most racist Hispanic 'civil rights' groups.
Without the Protect America Act, Bush and McConnell claim, the executive branch will not be able to spy on terrorists, and we will all be blown up. Terrorists can only be stopped, Bush says, if Bush has the right to spy on everyone without any oversight by courts.
As is typical in Washington, the administration has solved the crisis in Iraq by redefining success. No longer is the goal a liberal, multi-ethnic nation ready to lead the rest of the Middle East towards democracy, enlightenment, and the American Way. Now the objective is preserving a nominal country in which the various sectarian groups minimize violence by living apart and ignoring the inefficient, ineffective, corrupt, and largely irrelevant central government.
True, words, even if some phrases are borrowed, have the ability to inspire the electorate. But it's the policy that gets enacted that impacts and ultimately changes American lives. And when one takes a closer look at the nuts and bolts behind Senator Obama's message, there are troubling signs that the change Obama espouses might be nothing more than beautiful rhetoric.
Scheduled speakers include Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (NY), Congressman Jerry Nadler (NY), Congressman Tim Bishop (NY) Congressman Dennis Kucinich (OH) and other Congressional leaders. Advocates of several 9/11 health organizations as well as family members and first responders from September 11, 2001 will also be discussing the health issues they currently face.
Hundreds of outraged students petitioned against the cameras after they spotted them in the toilets and even refused to use the loos all day so they were not caught on CCTV.
It was the stories of parents selling all they had, to provide for their children - and when there was nothing left to sell, whole families committing collective suicide. And the children's' fears of the bombings will travel for ever, with anyone who has witnessed - and which will stay with the child and the child within, throughout their lifetime. Some children so traumatized, that during bombings, in the absence of tranquilizers, they had to be held, or even tied, down, to prevent them harming themselves during the grip of their terror.

Three others - Maj. Robert Preston, Capt. John Carr and Capt. Carrie Wolf - asked to be relieved of duties after saying they were concerned that the process was rigged. One said he had been assured he didn't need to worry about building a proper case; convictions were assured.
Writes James Elliott: "I just saw the headlines on the Serbian 'storming' of the US Embassy in Belgrade. This was not done to the French Embassy, because the French did not bomb Serbia beginning on their highest holy day, Orthodox Easter, the way the US did under the enlightened 'genocide'-halting foreign policy of the Clinton/Albright administration, and we have the audacity to ask the UN to be incensed for us over this issue now! Blow back strikes again."
Hundreds of pages of recently unsealed court records detail how kickbacks shaped the war's largest troop support contract months before the first wave of U.S. soldiers plunged their boots into Iraqi sand.
McCain's attempts to build up his campaign coffers before a general election contest appeared to be threatened by the stern warning yesterday from Federal Election Commission Chairman David M. Mason, a Republican. Mason notified McCain that the commission had not granted his Feb. 6 request to withdraw from the presidential public financing system.
Independent US Senate candidate Laurie Dobson has announced plans to file a formal Writ of Indictment against President Bush and Vice President Cheney next Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Kennebunkport Town Hall. If passed by the town's Board of Selectmen, it could result in the arrest of Bush and/or Cheney if they visit Kennebunkport.
The show tonight was a new low, with a suddenly cuddlesome troika of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards spending two hours giving each other friendly establishment back rubs while NBC played the Big Brother role, going to court to keep that meddling Dennis Kucinich off the stage. Afterward, the first flack to waddle into the spin cave is Mark Penn, Clinton's chief mouthpiece, one of Washington's most depraved and expensive lobbyist-whores.
A friend allowed her 10-year-old daughter to be taken out of school to the rally by her father. After the event was all said and done, Mom asked what she liked best about the rally. 'When he blew his nose.'
There were 799 foreclosure deeds in January, up 128.3 percent from the 350 deeds in January 2007, the firm said, and January 2008 also marks the highest number of deeds during any month since August 2007, when there were 1,018.
No, the reason his aides, back in 1998-2000, started working behind the scenes to keep Iseman away from McCain, and confronted McCain over his dalliances was because McCain, who had a history of corruption, most notably his card-carrying membership in the Keating Five savings and loan scandal, couldn't afford to appear to be backsliding.
Use Windows long enough and you'll recognize that bloated, sinking feeling creeping in. Spyware and viruses pile up, registries get corrupted, drivers stop working or cause conflicts -- eventually reaching that point where you want to just erase everything and re-install the entire system.
Kind of took me by surprise when i saw that this "guide" was written for Wired because it overlooks a lot of very basic concepts and really doesn't do much to improve security, performance or stability, which is the purpose of the article.
One very slick tool which not only has a huge impact on all 3 of the aforementioned goals is nLite for NT/XP/2K, or vLite for Vista. With this fairly easy to use and free software, not only can you remove unwanted garbage from a Windows installation, like Outlook Express, Windows File Protection, Windows Media Player, etc., but you can easily slipstream all the latest hot fixes and service pack and even create a fully unattended installation. And you do all this *before* you install by copying the contents of your installation to disk and then running nLite/vLite. If we're concerned about security, then we probably shouldn't be using Windows in the first place, but if we ignore that advice then we at least need to get rid of some of the more security hole riddled garbage that Billy Gates thinks every user absolutely cannot possibly live without. Using nLite/vLite we can trim this bloated beast of an OS down to size, improve security, eliminate annoyances and make it work the way YOU want:
1) Outlook Express - Bill says it can't be removed. False. And it is a wonderful vector for viruses/trojans and other malware. Substitute: Mozilla Thunderbird or other.
2) Internet Explorer - Again, this is a vector for attack. Bill decided to ingrain this crap into the OS so deeply and so much software depends upon it that removing it, although very possible (contrary to what Bill tells us) is not really an option. Still, you may want to remove part of it and keep the core files. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need Internet Explorer to access Windows Update either.
Substitute: Mozilla Firefox, Opera or other.
3) Windows Media Player - Garbage and, again, yet another vector for attack. Last i checked you couldn't even play DVDs with it by default, much less many of the popular video formats out there. Substitute: The easy route would be VLC (Video Lan Client). A more functional route would be Media Player Classic plus a codec pack, such as one from codecguide.com.
Beyond that, there are many choices that nLite/vLite offers to further improve security and cut your installation size. The following is a somehwhat typical list of what i remove using nLite and, where applicable, their substitutes and some comments. I usually reduce my installation size by about half, then add the software i want which still keeps the size under what a default installation would be. In the end i gain a lot of functionality and security and lose nothing. Keep in mind that i am not on a network in which case you might need to keep some of these things:
Accessibility Options - not impaired? garbage
Briefcase
Games
Internet Games
Paint
Pinball
Screensavers - had a purpose long ago with old type monitors. useless.
Wordpad - PSPad
Keyboards - i remove all of them (nLite auto-keeps the default for your language)
ActiveX for streaming video
AOL ART Image Format Support
Images and Backgrounds
Luna desktop theme
Media Center
Mouse Cursors
Movie Maker - there is freeware that is far more capable than this
Music Samples
Speech Support
Windows Media Player - VLC or Media Player Classic, etc.
Windows Media Player 6.4
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer - XnView
Windows Sounds
Communication tools
FrontPage Extensions
Internet Connection Wizard
Internet Explorer - i keep the core files
Internet Information Services (IIS) - run a local webserver?
IP Conferencing
MSN Explorer - Miranda IM
Netmeeting - Miranda IM
Outlook Express - Thunderbird
Peer-to-Peer
Share Creation Wizard
Synchronization Manager
Vector Graphics Rendering (VML)
Web Folders
Windows Messenger
.NET Framework
Blaster/Nachi removal tool

Search Assistant
Security Center - useless garbage. for a firewall i use an older version of Comodo and ClamWin for virus detection.
Service Pack Messages
Shell Media Handler
Tour
User account pictures
Web View
Zip Folders
Automatic Updates - do it manually and install the updates you need.
Beep Driver
Error Reporting
IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service - ImgBurn
Messenger
Remote Registry
Service Advertising Protocol
System Restore Service
Languages - i remove all (nLite auto-keeps the default).
To further improve security i'd recommend common sense, but that's not something you can 'install'. On top of that, a decent firewall would be a good idea. Comodo, like all of the s/w i use, is free and fully functional with no nags or malware. ClamWin is a good solution for an anti-virus and it's free and open source and won't embed itself or slow your system down like many commercial solutions will.
If you use Firefox, then i'd highly recommend the NoScript extension to control JavaScript and AdBlock Plus to control annoying adverts.
As far as drivers, i'd recommend not using drivers provided by your hardware manufacturer if you don't have to. Many of them install a host of useless, buggy software. If you have an ATI or Nvidia video card, look at the Omega drivers.
Thus the BBC (wittingly or unwittingly) assisted the Government in halting the search for the "real" source (or sources), and, in the context of Mr Toad's references (see below) to "civil war within the Cabinet of HMG (Her Majesty's Government)" and "USG's (United States's Government's) plans to help HMG make up its mind with regard to Iraq's WMD", and the connection betwen the two, it is surely not difficult to appreciate the importance of halting that search (for the "real" source of Gilligan's story).
Obviously, I don’t know whether or not McCain had sex with Iseman. I suppose by “what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is” standards, he didn’t even deny having had sex with Iseman. Certainly it’d be a bit rich of McCain to get outraged that anyone would even suggest that he might engage in sexual improprieties. After all, it’s well known that he repeatedly cheated on his first wife Carol, of a number of years, with a variety of women, before eventually dumping her for a much-younger heiress whose family fortune was able to help finance his political career.
PORTLAND, ME - February 18 - The future of the U.S. Constitution and the role of Congress will be discussed by the Candidates for Congress vying to replace Tom Allen representing Maine’s First Congressional District. John Nichols, Washington correspondent for The Nation magazine, will set the stage at the forum by addressing the constitutional issues that have been created during the current Bush-Cheney Administration.
The much-touted successes of the Bush administration’s deployment of 30,000 American additional troops to Iraq last year rest on unstable and rapidly eroding foundations. The unstated fear in the Pentagon debate over how many American troops can be withdrawn this year is that the policies associated with the surge have created potential triggers for a return to wide-spread resistance.
WASHINGTON--The US detention facility at Guantanamo Bay has been caught conducting covert propaganda attacks on the internet. The attacks, exposed this week in a report by the government transparency group Wikileaks, include deleting detainee ID numbers from Wikipedia last month, the systematic posting of unattributed "self praise" comments on news organization web sites in response to negative press, boosting pro-Guantanamo stories on the internet news site Digg and even modifying Fidel Castro's encyclopedia article to describe the Cuban president as "an admitted transexual" [sic].
At least 10,000 to 20,000 soldiers, backed by warplanes and warships and battle tanks, will be employed in the Gaza invasion, to be deployed at four main access, including the Mediterranean sea side.
The Guardian has today revealed the contents of the margin note that the Information Tribunal allowed to be removed when ordering the Foreign Office to publish the John Williams draft of the Iraq dossier.
It figures that Vicki Iseman, the lobbyist at the center of this John McCain brouhaha, is from Pennsylvania. According to her college alumni magazine in this piece headlined “A View from the Top,” she’s a 1990 grad of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a native of that western Pa. town. This accompanying picture proves she has friends in high (or low) place.
As the country awaits news on whether Shi'ite Moqtada al-Sadr will extend his ceasefire, at least 38 Iraqis were killed and another 16 were wounded in the latest attacks. New developments at the Turkish border also occurred. Also, two GIs were killed and four British soldiers were wounded in separate incidents.
Flight 175 hijacker Hamza Alghamdi is scheduled to fly from Los Angeles, the destination of his 9/11 flight, to San Francisco on the afternoon of 9/11. However, the flight does not leave, as all air traffic has been grounded in the US (see (9:26 a.m.) September 11, 2001), and Alghamdi is presumed to have died when his plane hit the World Trade Center. Alghamdi has a ticket to fly from Rome to Casablanca, Morocco, and another to fly from Casablanca to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on September 20. However, his flight to Casablanca is scheduled to arrive after his flight from Casablanca departs. He is also scheduled to fly from Riyadh to Damman, Saudi Arabia, on September 29. He is the only hijacker in an FBI timeline described as having plane tickets for times after the 9/11 attacks.
Researchers with Princeton University and the Electronic Frontier Foundation have found a flaw that renders disk encryption systems useless if an intruder has physical access to your computer -- say in the case of a stolen laptop or when a computer is left unattended on a desktop in sleep mode or while displaying a password prompt screen.
The criminals in the U.S. government are continuing the push for a militarized North American Union police state. According to an announcement on U.S. Northern Command’s web site, an agreement has been signed between U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and Canada Command (CANADACOM) that allows the military from either nation to support the armed forces of the other during a civil emergency.
